Quitain Law Office

Quitain Law Office is a family litigation practice with roots going back several generations in Davao City. The firm is associated with the Quitain family's long legal tradition: patriarch Pedro Quitain was a lawyer, followed by Jesus Melchor Quitain — former Dean of the University of Mindanao College of Law and Davao City Administrator — and now Jay Melchor Quitain Jr. Jay graduated from San Beda College of Law and passed the Philippine Bar in 1999. A member of the IBP, he built his practice on civil and criminal litigation while concurrently teaching at the University of Mindanao College of Law from 1999 to 2019. The office is situated on F. Iñigo Street in Poblacion District, Davao City's downtown legal and commercial core.
